In September my lemon tree blossomed and bore fruit for the first time ever. At about the same time, Essie Letterpress asked me whether I'd contribute to their artists' almanac. I leapt at the chance, of course, both to participate in the project and to document and celebrate my lovely tree.
I scanned my pen drawing, then copied the scan and erased appropriate parts to create two colour "plates" that would fit together perfectly when printed.
I haven't seen the final print yet, but judging by the photos Essie did a wonderful job.
